HDB e-services – How Can I Check Your HDB BTO Application Status

The Housing Board of Delhi (HDB) has released the BTO list for the Greater Noida and Delhi Urban fringe areas. Those who have been eagerly waiting to purchase a plot in this prestigious western suburb are now facing uncertainty as there has been a lot of activity surrounding the BTO process over the last few weeks. In this article, we will explain how you can check your status in terms of your BTO application and know if it has been accepted or rejected. There are two subcategories of BTOs in this zone: B-Tech and E-Tech. To get an idea about what each of these means, read on.

What is a BTO 

BTO stands for Build-To-Order. BTO apartments are constructed by the developer at the specified site. There are three variations: B-Tech, E-Tech, and DHA Tech (Delhi Housing Authority) apartments.

What is the B-Tech Flat Type?

The B-Tech flat type means that the BTO application has been accepted, and you are waiting for a letter of allotment. This type of housing is located in the western part of Greater Noida or Delhi.

If you have applied for a BTO in the Greater Noida and Delhi Urban fringe area, there are two options: a B-Tech and an E-Tech. To register your application, you need to use HDB’s e-services. By logging into the official website. In the service section of the website, you will find that your application is either “Pending” or “Rejected” and further details about your application, such as how many applications there were for that site if the site has reached capacity or not and if another applicant has been given preference over you will be displayed on the screen. How long do BTO results take?

The BTO list for the Greater Noida and Delhi Urban fringe area was released on 21st March 2017. If your application is submitted by 12th April 2017, you should be able to get an update on your status around 26th April 2017.

How long does HDB BTO take to complete?

If you have been approved for a B-Tech plot, the application process will take about three months to complete. If you are approved for an E-Tech plot, the application process will take about six months to complete.

How can I check my BTO Application Status?

You can check your BTO application status by going to the HDB e-Services Hub. If you are eligible for an E-Tech BTO, you will find this information on the e-Services Portal. If you are eligible for a B-Tech BTO, you will find this information on the e-Services Gateway. Please note that your application status does not mean that you have been accepted or rejected. It simply means that it has been sent to be assessed by the PAPs, and if received, it will be passed on to them for consideration.

Check Your BTO Application Status Online

The best and easiest way to check your application status is to log on to the HBD website. You can easily find the application status section under the “Applications” tab. You can also find the application status by simply entering the application number in the search box. However, if you are not able to log in, then you can also get the application status by sending an email to the same address.

Request for Informal Review (RIF)

If you are still unable to find your application status online, you can also ask for the status of your application by filing an RIF. A RIF is a request for information that is filed with HBD seeking an informal review of a proposed BTO application. In an RIF, you are requesting an informal review of your application and asking HBD to provide the following information. The status of your application and any other information, such as the application number, the application type, the applicant’s name, and the address where the application is being filed.

The first step to ensure your application is accepted is to understand what kind of flat you are applying for. The Housing Board of Delhi has introduced the B-Tech and E-Tech categories in order to obtain a clearer understanding of the types of flats available. Lastly, if you are a first-timer applicant who does not own an HDB flat already, you will need a letter from your employer stating that they agree that it is appropriate for you to purchase an HDB flat at this time.

The Housing Board of Delhi’s (HDB) My HDB page is where you can manage all your BTO applications, so you will have to log in to your account and check out the status of your application. Once logged in, click on the “My HDB Page” tab at the top. Click on “Application Status”.
